IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR...
The end of term was stressful and hectic, but we were very lucky to celebrate our Christmas Fair on 10th December.
We had lots of joy and good cheer as the children went around church enjoying the games, drinks, food, prizes and, of course, the raffle. We were even treated to a special visit from Santa Claus!
The fair raised nearly £2,300 on the day plus match-funding (detailed below). This is less than what we usually rise for this event but a major achievement considering the number of families who couldn't attend given the COVID cases, the restrictions in place, and Christmas plans.
It makes us very happy to say that our THANK YOU list is quite long which shows our amazing community spirit:
First, a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped to decorate the school and the Church, donated prizes, put together the Class Hampers, set up the stalls, manned the stalls and cleaned up. It was a wonderful team effort and could not be put together without the help of parents, teachers/school staff, and of course our Class Reps.
Thank you to SMAS, Mr. Primrose, the teachers (the decorations made by the children were unreal), and staff (especially David who was around to help from beginning to end).
Thank you to Mother Emma and SMA PCC for all their support and for providing us with such a magical venue to host our fair.
Thank you to our Year 2 parent who stepped up to help at Santa's Grotto for the entire 2 hours slot. Thank you to the Year 5 parent who baked that amazing chocolate cake for the Guess How Much/How Many game. HUGE thank you to the Year 3 parent who donated the Chelsea game tickets for our raffle making it so much more interesting, and competitive.
A special thank you to Elie Hanna (XL Catlin/AXA Group) and Sandra Vasquez (Jupiter Asset Management) who match-funded £610 and £1,500, respectively.
Last but not least, thank you to our sponsors: Swimming Nature, BodyWorksWest Gym, Boom Sports, and Kim's Nails Beauty Notting Hill.
