Regular Giving to FOSMAS
Just Giving - internet based sponsorship / direct donation
TWO MORE new regular giving direct debits were received over the spring term. Thank you SO much!
(If EVERY FAMILY in the school (not every child, every family) paid £5 a month to FOSMAS, and this was giftaided we would bank over £10,000. That is an amazing amount of money - that coincidentially matches the amount FOSMAS donates to the school to pay for supplementary items / services and events to support the curriculum each year. (NB All donations to FOSMAS are made in confidence.)

FOSMAS NOW HAVE IT'S VERY OWN JUST GIVING PAGE
Click the image to access it and show all methods of fundraising. Through this site you can;
Raise money for us by making a free online fundraising page
Write a short paragraph about what you are doing, add a photo or two if you like and then email your page to your friends and family. They can then donate online easily and safely with a credit/debit card. With the Fun Run 2011 FOSMAS received over 460 pounds with Gift Aid on top from sponsor forms made on Just Giving. We received money from Canada, the United States of America, France, Sweden and Egypt - along with the UK. This is a fun way for our junior children particularly (building on their internet / pc skills) to boost FOSMAS funds!!! |

PAYROLL GIVING
Payroll Giving is the most tax-efficient way for employees to make regular payments to the FOSMAS directly from their pay. People who receive their company/personal pension through PAYE (Pay As You Earn) can participate too. Contact your employer’s human resources department to ask if they operate a Payroll Giving scheme already – or lobby them to establish one!
Payments that you make through a Payroll Giving Scheme are deducted from your pay before tax is deducted. This means that you get tax relief on your donation immediately - and at your highest rate of tax.
It’s very simple! You can give as much or as little as you want. You just fill in a form to FOSMAS, giving our Registration number,
The FOSMAS Charity Registration number is 1030955 and return it directly to the HMRC approved Payroll Giving Agency which operates your employer’s Payroll Giving Scheme.
The Payroll Giving Agencies do most of the administrative work and meet most of the costs. Most deduct a small charge from the donations to cover these administrative costs - up to about 4 per cent is usual. They distribute what's left to the chosen charities.
Some employers choose to pay this administration cost for the Payroll Giving Agency so that the charities get the whole amount of their employees' donations.
